I have an onboard geforce4 mx and an agp geforce4 4200. Is it possible to setup a dual screen? If so, how can I do this? I cant figure out how to get both video cards to work at the same time.

You can setup dual screen with 2 video cards(or more depending on the manufacture), you do not need a card with 2 outputs on it as the previous poster mentioned. However, i've never tried to do it with the nvidia onboard stuff. You should still be able to through their drivers though under properties in windows. You will definately have to play around with it a bit.

*edit*

It's not as easy as just plugging in both monitors, more specifically you have to connect both monitors, right click desktop, goto properties, advanced tab, should be a tab that has you're card name on it, click that. Somewhere their should be a setting tab on the left side that says Nview(can't see it on mine, no second monitor hooked up, it should only show up with two monitors, you should be able to set your settings for dual monitor in there somewhere. Hope this helps.

Dont see the nview thing.

Is there a way I can just disable my geforce 4200? Reason is my onboard has 2 vga outputs.

I may have had the terminology wrong, i know there's a tab in there somewhere, have you installed the latest nvidia drivers too?

is there a way to disable my 4200 though? I know it's a better video card but I rather have dual screen going.

remove it from the system if you really want to disable it. You should be able to setup the dual view using the 4200 and the onboard without issues though, just assign the 4200 as the primary display.
