I'm buying a ~$2200 computer this week with either a dual or triple display set up. I want it primarily for productivity, but I do some FPS gaming. I have about $500 to spend on displays, and I was going to get 2 LG IPS236V's until Best Buy f'ed me, and now I'm reconsidering them for a better TN display for gaming. What would you guys recommend for either double (for productivity) or triple (for hellacious gaming) displays in that price range?

I have three Samsung P350s' and I am very hapy with them. It does not appear that newegg has them for sale anymore though. I bought my last two for 200 a piece.

The LG models are terrible chocies for gaming due to the very slow response time. Both the IPS236V and IPS231P are slow.

OP if you want an IPS panel for gaming check out the Dell U2311H or wait a week or 2 for the PRAD Review of the Asus ML239H which is a bit cheaper.

If you want a TN check out the LG W2442PA. NClX typically sells these on sale for around 200$.

Also, I'm buying the Powercolor 6970 OC'ed to 940MHz card, if I did buy three 1920x1080 displays, is that card even capable of gaming (say CoD) with Eyefinity on those at full resolution?

After further research, I think I'm between the Samsung PX2370 and BX2431 (unless a single Radeon 6970 can run triple monitors in games). The extra inch on the BX would be nice, but does anyone know if I'm sacrificing quality for it?
