I have an RM850i power supply, and I would like the fan to spin all the time due to the design of my case, it helps temps quite a bit.

I have the Corsair Link installed, and I can set the fan manually to say 40% which is still silent but moves some air. The problem I'm having is the program doesn't seem to want to use those settings the next time I boot up. I saved a profile, and I can see it in the menu but not activate it in any way.

Basically each time I boot up I would have to manually adjust it again which is extremely annoying, and I can't figure out why such a program completely dedicated to controlling cooling solutions of various types is unable to load a profile upon starting up with Windows.

Does anyone know how to make this thing work?

Obviously, it is not supposed to do that but I have had a lot of issues with the software before when trying to write reviews. Unfortunately though, I do not have a solution for you. If the newest version of the software does not correct the issue you pretty much are going to have to wait or use a non-Corsair product that works.

I have the same issue although I found a work around. Now when I open Corsair Link the fan runs at max so I set it to open minimized on startup.

With Corsair Link they have clearly gone for making it look flash, not working reliably. Stupid for a PSU manufacturer, especially one which prides its self as being one of the best.

On my PC it now gives an unhandled exception when i start it up. It never saves the profiles properly and it consumes enough resources that you would not want it running all the time as a monitor. PSU itself is great. I just use this to occasionally check it.

I noticed that my Corsair H80iGT cooling my R9 290 was showing up in the Windows Device Manager with a exclamation point beside it. So I decided to install Corsair Link to see if it could correct it since I didn't see another solution on the Corsair website. Sure enough it flashed the firmware on my cooler and it no longer shows up as broken in the Device Manager. Sweet!

Second thing was that AI Suite II started blurting out warnings about the fans being off. Damned if I do and damned if I don't. So now I have to choose between the two I suppose.

I hate corsair link. On my h110 Gtx it was causing system instability when connected to the usb header. Unplugged it and it works fine. It's a half assed gimmick

I had nothing but problems with corsair link with an AX1200i. Program crashing, not saving settings... Then the psu started randomly crashing, which I suspect was related to the link because it was working fine before I installed the link module. Ended up returning it and going with a evga unit.

I also had major problems with Corsair Link. I'm hoping a future update will fix some stability issues.
