Help with color calibration?

Just picked up my new LCD monitor and I was wondering if anyone had any tips/tricks for color calibration :)

I snagged Magictune and Natural Color but every time I think I've got it to a point where the color is almost perfect, I find something that does not display right.

Is there an easy way to do it, or is it just a matter of fiddling around with it for awhile?
