whats the best way to clean it?
theres a little watermark on it and a cloth wont take it off..
any hints?

I'll second the water and paper towel route. Just make sure the monitor is off first. ;)
Using glass cleaner that contains ammonia will remove the protective anti-glare coating on the screen.

I just wanted to add the my eye glasses cleaner states that it is safe for all anti-reflective coatings. I wouldn't use a paper towel though, as they are rough and abrasive.

Might as well use a fine grit sandpaper.

Protip: If it's not a microfiber cloth don't let it touch your LCDs.
What, do you use sandpaper for a paper towel? You get it wet first and you don't press down and scrub. Geez...

That being said, if you are really worried, pick these up from Kensington:

They are specifically made for cleaning LCD screens and they use a micro fibre cloth.

why not go and get some monitor wipes that are made for this?

Yes, get some Falcon anti-static monitor wipes....available at most Office Max, Office Depot, Best Buy, etc...

paper towels are made out of wood, so your basically scratching your screen with fine wood fibers.
