I am setting up a hardware raid card and have some questions about some of the choices. I am using 2 each 2TB drives, but will also be adding 2 SSD's as the OS/boot. I would like to know what these are and which I should choose:

1) 64bit LBA or 4K block (for greater than a 2TB raid set)
2) Volume write protection - on or off
3) Raidset mode - max 128 volumes or max 16 volumes
4) Initialization - foreground or background

In Windows 7 disk management
1) MBR (master boot record) or GPT (GUID partition table)

I did notice in MBR mode, I can only create a 2TB max boot partition. In GPT mode, I can create a boot partition of the full size of 3.8TB.
