Help with BSEL mod for pentium D

So I tried to mod my pentium d 930 3ghz to 1066 fsb (4 ghz) using conductive ink.
I did this in my dell dimension 5100 with A03 bios. It booted fine, but the clock wasnt changed at all. Still the boring old 800 mhz. This was after connecting bsel1 to VSS.
Afterwards I applied jmsandrsn mod (from the dell ee 4 ghz thread) in which we insulate bsel 1 and connect bsel1 to bsel 2, which effectively shorts these pins at the mobo from my understanding. Again, it booted, this time I applied 3 layers, and still default boring 800 mhz fsb.
The PLL is on this mobo isn't supported by any software, so I cant overclock it that way either.

if you have any ideas (aside from buying a new pc / motherboard :D) PLEASE POST:eek:
