I'm working on my HTPC case, and I'm having trouble with the bondo part of it. I am trying to build up about a 3/8th inch layer of bondo around the PS1 LCD screen I have installed and then sand it down at about a 45 degree angle.
The problem I'm running into is that even though I have the whole thing sanded down and it looks and feels smooth as can be, as soon as I prime it all these little imperfections show up. I've been sanding it down with 80 grit, then 200, and finally with 400 grit. Then I prime it gray and finally I will spray it a flat black.
Can anyone give me some tips on getting the best results with bondo? This is the first time I've ever used it. Thanks.
