Looking for a better setup than my current klipsch 4.1 pro media. What is suggested? Others suggested getting a reciver and sub and just hooking it up to my old 4 klipsch speakers but I need something that won't take up a ton of space...ideas??

I use powered Studio Monitors and they are awesome. This set is over 21 years old now.
Go to a local Guitar Center or musical store and demo ones in your price range and see if you like them.
Bring an audio device with your music to listen to.

one optical input from your sound card and a power plug. about as simple as you can get.

still say you should have just called denon, hdmi to a receiver should be easy too...

Unfortunately I work offshore that is why I wanted to get info on how to install here asap. I really only had time to install yesterday and today...the only way I'll be off is severe weather and the widow to return everything is beg of Sept... I don't want to keep it if I can't get it working..
Is there maybe a smaller less complicated receiver I can use and a smaller 8 inch sub? I I came across this but dunno if it'll work
Hi-res External Dual DAC USB Sound Card with Fully Balanced Xamp Headphone Bi-amplifier for Audiophile..
I really don't care to have that many speakers either like the logitech... Honestly a left right and center is really enough or if I could just keep the 4 klips and use a smaller receiver and a smaller sub maybe 6 to 8 inch..

Was your goal to melt your face with that setup?

It's not complicated at all, you've either plugged the speakers in wrong or haven't gone through the receiver's setup. Just plug in two of the speakers to the receiver without the hub in the chain and see what happens. You also need to start looking up stuff for yourself. Use youtube and the link to the forum I gave you last week and the setup manual that comes with the receiver.

Yes you actually need to use the remote that came with the receiver dunno why u can't just use the buttons on the actual receiver but whatever... Even with using the remote to go thru the setup menu no sound...

Did you do what I said and only plug two speakers in without the hub speaker?
