My house was hit by lightning and many things quit working. One was my old PC with an Abit AW9D-MAX motherboard. I am trying to figure out what failed.
When I jumper the 24pin ATX connector I read all correct voltages, but when it is plugged back in the mobo will not start. I only get a flashing LED 7 (5VSB) and the LED 6 (VCC) is not lit.
I have unplugged CPU / RAM / all PC cards / unplugged all SATA power and data connections and I still get only the LED 7 flashing.
Just wanted some other opinions before I send the Mobo to the trash.
