well.....its summer now i think its time for a upgrade

what i need help with is what CPU to get i was thinkin a/b getting the X2 4200+ and OCin or getting the 4400+ and OC it as well. or should i just get a san diego core like a 3700+ what i will be doing is:

Photoshop
surfing the net while playin games
AIM
virus scanning
music while playing games

also i dont think this is the right area to ask this...but might as well

what mobo wil match the X2 great i was thinkin a DFI but. im lookin to spend 950 most
 
go for dual core if u r plannin to use it longer or stick onto eclipse's recommendation.

but if that's the case, you might want to save up the extra money for a nice rig that will last a long time.. go with X2 ;)
 
ahaha....i know im just messsing ....im gonna wait tilll its tottally out of date..so the 3200+ venice would be fine wiht wut im doin. b/c i have a 2800+ 64 and it lags whenever i run a virus scanner windows meida player and a game all at the sametime.and i have a pair of OCZ gold pc 4000 rev2 ram
