Hello people!!
I'm new here.... I need some help from You gaming experts......
I'm in the process of buying a new graphic card for the sistem...but have some questions.
I usualy play at 1024x768, but with new card would like to switch to 1280x960, and be able to have AA & AF switched on......at least x4/x8.......if needed.
My budget is max, 300$, but less would be nice....
In Europe there ara some new 6800 versions on the market like:
ASUS 6800 GT with 128Mb 350core/700mem
LeadTek 6800 with 256Mb 325core/700mem
both are less than 300$ and both have plain DDR not DDR3, both need only one external power connector, not two.
what is the best way to go? Faster core or more ram?
Will the following cards enable me to play at 1280x960 with AA&AF on?
Second question?
Is my 250W power supply up to run 6800?? And what can I expect if I plug in the card? Low performance or a potential power failure?
I have only 1HDD & 1DVD units conected besides MB. So i have plenty of power cables free (3 or 4)
The problem is that the computer is not mine so I can't replace the power part...I'm only allowed to put in/out cards.....
