Help with 290x overclocking... memory clock is stuck?

So I've been overclocking my 290x, and I encountered a problem.

Somehow, the clock of my memory is stuck at 1333 (x4). In afterburner, the memory clock slider is stuck at 1333 (lowest position). If I try to manually change the number, it just resets to 1333 instantly.

I can clock the memory 'higher' than 1333 however. It's like 1333 is the minimum clockspeed somehow.

Somehow yesterday it went away, and I was able to set lower speeds, but then it came back after I reset.

I've also tried using GPU tweak, to no avail.

Further, is there a method to disable powerplay in GPUtweak? Afterburner won't change my core voltage, but GPUtweak does, but doesn't seem to have a method of forcing set clockspeeds.
 
You running the card in normal mode or do you have it set for uber mode?

It's in uber mode.

I noticed the core is locked to a minimum of 1050 as well. It has to be software related, because it wasn't always this way.

It's like one of my previous overclocks became the minimum allowed settings somehow, and I'm not sure how it happened.
 
Try resetting things then?

Click the Reset button in afterburner
Disable afterburner from start-up up on boot
Reset clocks/overclocking in driver control panel back to defaults
Reboot
Re-enable afterburner

He's telling you to reset Afterburner. Resetting it to as if you were using it for the first time in a sense.Never used the program so just guessing here how its done.

So, Click the Reset button in afterburner - guessing there is reset button somewhere in the program that resets everything back to default.

Disable afterburner from start-up up on boot - To stop Afterburner from starting upon the reboot you do that through windows task manager under start up. Click on Afterburner program to disable it.

Reset clocks/overclocking in driver control panel back to defaults - Make sure to reset everything back to default settings.

Reboot - Reboot your pc. Turn it off then back on or just do a restart.

Re-enable afterburner - Go back into task manager under start up and re enable Afterburner to start up whenever you start your pc.

This should set After burner to its full default settings as if for the first time. Now go in and try things again.

That make any sense?
