help w/ Abit An9 32x

I have a Abit An9 32x with a x2 5200. I am having issues with the board not holding the settings when it Cold Boots. The board is reseting back to default, and I it wont boot correctly until I go back into the settings and set the bios. Should I RMA the board? or is there something that I can do to fix this.

Two possible things you can try.
1) Do you have contast power to your PC? Example is it on a power strip or only looses settings when your power is disconnected from the power supply? If so, you can try replacing the cmos battery.
2) If the problem occurs even with constant power I would attempt a bios flash. If problem repeats you probably have a corrupted cmos chip and can either buy just the chip itself (at one time I think abit offered this) or just RMA the motherboard.
