Help!Videocard Just randomly stops being recognized!

I was playing a Game earlier, and my monitor cut off. At first I Thought it had died, but then I noticed my videocard was running at 100%. So i restart my PC..still the monitor is off and my videocard fan is spinning at 100%. I Take the Dvi out and plug it into my PC. The monitor comes on, I go into the desktop uninstall the drivers then reinstall..still spins at 100%. SO I finally go into System setup to find its no longer even being recognized. Out of no where...I tried to reseat the card, still no avail..

After a reboot all is well or do you have to go into safemode because the video card drivers are using default MS drivers?

To be honest I don't know what is wrong. If I go into setup after a reboot, it says the PCI slot is empty.

The videocard just stopped being recognized.
 
If you have reseated it in the slot again and checked that the power going to it is good, the card could have failed. Have you got another PCIe card to put in their to see if it works?
