Hey guys! I need help! I just sent this email to the egg, and I an gonna try to get some help here, also.

Hello, I am building a computer for a friend, and I have a very big
problem. I have an Aopen Geforce 4 MX4000 AGP 8x video card I bought
from Newegg. It will not work with the motherboard I bought. I
bought a Gigabyte GA K8NS Refurbished. I need a video card that is
compatible with this motherboard. The motherboard only suppports 4x
and 8x video cards, because of the different voltages. The computer
works fine with a PCI video card, however. I need help very fast. I
need to return this video card and I need to get a card that is
compatible with this mobo. Please help me!!

Can someone help me find a video card that will work with this system. I need a card under 35$

In the manual of the mobo, on page 4 of this link:
http://america.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard/FileList/Manual/manual_k8ns_e.pdf
It says that the board wont support the 2x cards. my card looks exactly the same as that illustration in the manual. what I am asking, will a card with the 2 notchas work with this board. If not, will I have to go with a PCI card? PLEASE HELP!

TIA!

You bought an AGP 8x card and you have a board that supports AGP 4x and 8x... what's the problem?

Maybe, since it was a refurb, the agp slot doesn't work. Try another agp card in there to see if the slot is dead.
