olla everyone...
i'm new in this forum
yeah, i have quick questions and need quick answers :D

i want to playing LAN game...Again...it've been long - Doom and war craft are good start :D

is that possible to connect (making LAN) between two desktop computers and one notebook using USB wireless adapter (such as DWL-122 usb wireless adapter) without router and accesspoint ? in short i created Ad-Hoc mode.

Last time, I used two PCI wireless cards (slot type, 11 Mbps) to connect two desktop computers to playing LAN games and it works - without router and accespoint - only two computers and two PCI wireless cards . now, i want try something else, using usb wireless adapter to make small network. and by using usb, it's cheaper, and fast

thx for answering
have a nice day

Sure, it's possible to add more nodes to an Ad-Hoc network. Just slap the USB adapters on each computer, make sure they all have the same ssid and wep key, and statically assign IP addresses in the same subnet.

P.S. for the $20 it would benefit you BIG bunches to just buy a router...
