I need help on what type / if-so a processor that would run with my computer.
I am not very computer smart, but im not totally dumb.

When I go into "Windows Task Manager", when running some normal programs ...my CPU usage is always 100% and PC feels slugish.

I have taking a screen shot of my current Processor and Motherboard info.

I am looking to upgrade to around a 3GHz Processor. Money is not a problem.

Other Info:
1024 Mb of SDRAM
PC originally was a Dell 4300S
Graphics Card: ATI All-In-Wounder 9600 256mb

If anyone could help...It would be most appreciated.

If "Money is not a problem" as you say, just get a new Dell....
Your PC is what 4~5yrs old... Everything in it is old and with almost no upgrade path. I think the fastest CPU you could get for your PC would be 2.4GHz... YOu wouldn't even notice the difference.
Time for another $600 PC...

There's a chance your motherboard can take a Northwood P4 3.0 processor, but you'd be basically updating from "ancient" to "slightly less ancient."

If money is no problem, a new PC should be no problem then.
