Is a ssd with a higher iops read and write and a lower read and write megabytes faster then one with higher read and write iops and and higher read and write megabytes?

Sorry I am trying to understand. I want to buy a new one soon. And I notice that one of Samsung's ssd had a read and write iops of 100,000 / 90,000. A read and write of 540 mbs / 520 mbs. I also was looking at Intel's ssd's. There's had a 41,000 / 80,000 iops. And read and write 540 mbs / 490 mbs. So which one is faster? And better? longer lasting?

Higher IOPS is usually better. The MB/s numbers are practically useless for most desktop usage. These measure large sequential transfers that are very rare in most real world applications since most real world applications do not read and write GB files sequentially. Although with that said you probably won't tell the difference between most current generation SSDs. So even if the Samsung 840 Pro is one of the fastest drives you may not notice it much faster than a Crucial M500 that costs much less.
 
IOPS is the important value for a SSD.
But you can buy expensive enterprise SSDs like the Intel S3700 and cheap consumer SSDs with nearly the same value. The difference: On heavy write usage, the Intel keeps performance up over time while the consumer SSD can go down to 10% of the adverticed value after some minutes of usage.

You can reduce this effect when you overprovision your SSD with a 10 or 20% host protected area that you can create with tools like hdat2. For heavy write usage I would also avoid the new TLC SSDs like the new Samsung EVOs.

I feel safe suggesting, based on your very sparse information on your use case, that an 840 EVO or M500 is the perfect drive for you. I'm assuming this is just a desktop drive that's going to be used for OS, games, applications and maybe some media files.

Don't worry about IOPS, suquential transfers or endurance. Pick the drive that gives you the amount of space you need, has the best price and enjoy.
 
Around 4K packet size read/write MB/s are a lot more important for OS use than maximum read/writes.
Most OS data transfers are nowhere near the size of packets that can achieve max speed.

ie my 256K packet size gets over 450MB/s, whereas 4K gets around 150MB/s.
SSD = Samsung 840 Pro.
