Help Turning Old PC into HTPC

well i have an old rig i want to turn into the backend of a mythTV system. will be using an xbox as the frontend and was wondering exactly what ill need besides linux, and a tv tuner card., its an old HP thats has 2 open pci slots and im not sure what Tv Tuner Card will be the best, i want it to do the encoding itself and be able to do at least 2 differnt channels/recording at the same time.HD not a big deal right now maybe later on. any suggestions

also my xbox has a 400 gig Hard Drive, how much space should i have on the pc
 
well i was looking at this one Click

and my comp is real old only supports 512 ram and has a PIII at 933mhz

also main use is going to be recording tv but would i be able to watch live tv on my xbox from my computer?
