I spent yesterday doing wire cleanup on my computer and now i cant get anything to come up on the monitor. I personaly think by process of elimination that theres no other possiblility but a messed up mobo... but I would like your oppinions

1) I removed floppy, HD, Optical IDE's to eliminate that variable
2) I unplugged all extra fans and am just running with it open
3) I tested another video card and problem still occured so thats not it
4) All fans turn on, the power lamp on the mobo turns on

But when i turn it on the fans just start to spin and nothing happens really, no special BIOS beeps... it just sits there and screen is black

PLEASE HELP!!!

ive seen similar probs , if all you have tried has failed ,
remove mobo and set it up "sans" the case.

you may have a hidden ground some where

Remove the vidio card and boot it up.
Do you get the bios beeps for a bad vidio card.
Try the same thing with the ram.

Have you cleared the cmos.

Luck.......:D

Thanks for the tips... turns out i just pulled the battery and reset everything. Odd... i have no idea why that would have effected anything but it worked :D
