1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Everyday computing. Mostly gaming (SC2, Diablo3, FFXIV). Online browsing and whatnot
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
1500 all together. Give or take a 150.
3) Where do you live?
Sacramento, CA
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Starting from scratch. So that means CPU/MOBO/GPU/RAM/HDD/SSD/CASE/PS
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Keyboard and mouse
6) Will you be overclocking?
Yes if I can figure it out

Planning to buy a 24" I would like to game on 1920x1080 res. No need to game in 3D.
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
End of Aug/ Begin of Sept.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
None at the moment.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? 32bit or 64bit?
Nope
Well this is my first PC build. Tired of gaming on my little laptop. Would like to see some nice graphics for a change. So after all the my research these are the parts I came up with.
CPU: i7-930
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX460 1024 MB
RAM: G.SKILL 6GB DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
HDD: Samsung 1TB HD103SJ
SSD: Kingston SSDNow V Series 64 GB
CASE: AZZA Solano 1000
PS: Corsair CMPSU-850TX
Display: ASUS VW246H 24-Inch
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium OEM
According to Amazon so I can avoid being charged tax in CA, the price came up to be ~1579
Tried newegg, but the tax and shipping are a killer
Hopefully you guys can help me make a better build and save money at the same time.
