I am having a hard time deciding what the correct storage configuration should be for me and my mid life Crisis machine.
I will probably end up using an IP35 Pro motherboard if it matters?

Is this the best Raptor drive to get?

Just reading the other thread. I think I should stay away from raid?

Not really sure the best way to go.

Lol, most ppl buy sport cars for their mid life crisis, anyway raid 0 for storage is bad idea, if one of the drives dies you loose all the data, Raid 0 would be fine for like game installation or other data you don't care about.
Personally I would get 2 raptors 150s, one for os, 2nd for games, and then get 750 or 1tb drive for data storage.

Just grabbed (2) of the Western Digital Raptor WD1500ADFD 150GB 10,000 RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA150 Hard Drive - OEM for speed.

I also grabbed (1) Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD7500AAKS 750GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM for Storage.

750GB should do me for a while, and I could always add another down the line...

The drives look like it got some good reviews too.
