Help Sound problems

ok I was working on getting an audio program working and I pluged in a micro phone (yes it was in the right port) and after that the problems started. First it wouldn't record then it wouldn't out put any sound so I restarted and it and tryed to play some music it displayed this error "entry point not found " " The procedure entry point getiums could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL." then it played and is as of now not working again. Please help:(
 
im using whats built into my mobo. Its a abit nf7-s. on the mobo box it says nvida soundstorm
