Specifically looking for a sound card that can provide reliable support and awesome drivers...

My current Azuntech X-Fi (Creative) card is hell... creative drivers are horrible, bugs are never fixed, but sound is great when the drivers don't cut out / crackle or whatever... overall the card is terrible.

I've been looking into the HT Omega series or Asus; though, I'm unsure of HT's level of support, quality, and if they'll be around in the next 10 years, but Asus has been known to produce excellent products and we all know Asus will be around much longer than 10 years.
 
actually, the creative zxr is the best soundcard atm. with the z series, they pretty much nailed it. hard to believe but so far its true. no issues with my zx. great game sound and decent for music. the zxr is another step up. especially for music.
