I want to build a stand for a monitor and short tower system that will swivel with a remote control. I already have a stand but I want something like a small flat wood platform that would fit a monitor and tower next to it and would be placed on the stand that i already have, but that would rotate to the left or the right with a remote. Any help with this at all would be appreciated. Or even suggestions where to ask or look :)

My thought are a free swiveling tower or something and have a motor on remote control that has a wheel attached to move turn it, but electronics aren't my forte` That could get a little dangerous if you didn't limit the turn radius and you would need to be able to reverse the turn direction with maybe another motor that just turned it the other way  sounds difficult just thinking about it :p

1. Get a lazy susan
2. Attach motor
3. Rip apart a VCR for the remote control stuff
4. Become and electronics genius overnight.

1. Tear apart an old microwave and rig up a remote control to it.
2. take remaining microwave somewhere that needs a new paintjob, insert one gallon can of paint.
3. Turn on mircrowave and wait for instant paintjob :)
