So in short I spent five hours installing water cooling in my shuttle (specs in Sig) when I got the water cooling system bleed and what not it was on for 10~ minutes and got a bit hot but nothing insane. No water was spilled (that I noticed)

When I plug the Shuttle fans into their respectful outlets they just spin as fast as they can, I'm at a total loss and feel shitty... anyone know if shuttle is good with RMA's?

Any general ideas that I could try I don't think that the video card is fucked up, but that might be? (my shuttle doesn't have onboard video, and I don't have an extra video card).

unplug it, reset the bios, reseat the ram reseat the vid card.. if still nothing , you may have a short, take the whole system out of the box (mobo and all) and get it running out of the box.. WC systems can be tricky like that, sometimes the spring clamps put wierd pressures on the boards and the chips dosent line up just right or shifts.. (not extreamly common, but i had my old maze 2 shift on me after it had been in a working system for 3 mounths.. all of the sutten it wouldnt boot, one of the stainless steel screws came off its isolation mount and shorted, the reason i knew it shifted was because the mark where the AS met the core had been shifted as well)

dont give up on it yet..

Video card/RAM reseated, still nothing.

I guess I will tear it apart later and take the mobo, psu, well everything out.

Anymoe help?

Sounds like you shorted the motherboard. If not from water, your grubby, static charged hands probably killed it. It's easy to do. Static kills all the time and mobos are extremely susceptible.

Reseat the CPU as well. If it's not perfectly locked in place, you will also get those symptoms.

So I'll guess that if the motherboard is fried I'm pretty much SOL? how much do shuttle motherboards cost? (ish)

I will be starting the tear down in a little while.

Thanks for all the help, anymore input would be great!

If you are running dual channel memory try taking out one of the modules and leave the one closest to the cpu in. unplug the shuttle, press the reset button. Plug back in and try booting up. I know after installing my watercooling loop in my sn26p i somehow messed up one of my sticks of RAM. and i had the exact same problems afterward as you (no posting but everything else seeming fine fans running ect...)... Once I screwed around with the ram everything was fine.

Thanks for the help, but I took the lame way out, RMA'd the Shuttle, VGA, CPU to Newegg. Thanks for all the input guys! (girls?)
