I got all my parts late last afternoon and spent most of the day putting it together (it was my first time). Nearing midnight I was getting pretty tired, but I was pretty much done. I connected all the cables and tried booting up. I was just glad enough to get it to boot but it hanged at a screen stating my motherboard model in the background with a design, and on the bottom it said press tab to switch to POST and delete to go to BIOS setup. I couldn't get this to work. I was told it was probably a drive issue so after some jumper changes and mixing and matching I was able to get the HDD to connect but not the DVD RW drive. Right now I have the jumper setting on the HDD set to CS but I'm being told I should take it off to find something else that works. Anyone have any suggestions?

Help setting up the drives on my computer

I need to know what I should set each drive to though. So I guess I'm just going to take the jumper out of the WD, but I still don't know about the DVD RW. I'm getting more worried about this drive because now it won't eject when I turn on the computer. As for the keyboard and mouse thing it's weird because sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it just takes a while for it to respond. I hope I haven't just screwed something up
