Help Pushing o/c to the limits

Patriot 256 x 2 pc3200 2-3-2-5-1T, does 240fsb
Antec 380w psu

So far ive gotten both of these settings stable

240 fsb x 9 = 2160mhz, 240 fsb Stock 1.5v
265 fsb x 9 = 2390 mhz , 215 fsb due to 166 divider 1.56v

I cant raise my HTT to more then 265, is there a bios settings that will help me, or have i found my boards max?


BTW all temps are fine it never passes 55*c on full load
 
I'd say your board is maxed, especially considering that vcore (1.56v). The only option that might get you more, is if ldt is set to 3, if it isn't already.

LDT is on auto, but ill try 3 thanks.
 
yes, as a general rule of thumb, you want to keep the final HT link speed under 1000mhz. with 3x at 265mhz, you'll be 795mhz, some headroom to spare (until around 333mhz actually)

also.. 130nm loves a bit of voltage with a good heatsink. any way you can get those temps a bit lower?
 
I dont really care about temps, as long as it doesnt pass 60*c on full load im not too worried. In the upcoming months im sure ill spring for a new hsf etc. But i am running 2 120mm fans on low speed cuz i hate noise.
