Ok I'm having problems installing new vidcard(evga6800gt). I unistalled the drivers for my old ati 9700pro (ATI Control Panal, Display Driver, and Uninstaller) and booted in safe mode and ran driver cleaner, turned off comp, put in new card, now when i boot up it just stays at the mobo screen. Thats it, it doesnt post or anything. It does this with both cards too. Plz help:(

maybe your PSU cant handle it. also try reseting and/or flashing bios.

unplug all cards from mobo except video card and one stick of memory. disconnect all cables to the mobo except power and cpu fan and power switch. reset bios and see if that helps. if it doesnt try in this order:

1. diff psu
2. memory
3. diff mobo
4. diff cpu.
