I have an Abit AV8 Motherboard, Athlon 64 3400+, and an HT-101 AeroCool Heatsink/Fan.

Will the heatsink/fan work? The motherboard is socket 939 that works for socket 754.. The thing is, it says it supports athlon 64, but I cant get this to work!!!! The screws seem short but it is annyoing.. Help!!
 
Please give us more info. Are you saying that the HF will not fit on the MB?
 
It will not fit on the heatsink plate.. It fits perfectly.. The screws dont fit, and the thingthe screws screw into keep moving aorund.. I give up..
 
BUMP.. Is the AeroCool HT-101 Heatsink copatible with an Abit AV8 Motherboard?
