Help Please

OK, I have a eVGA NVIDIA 6800GT. I uninstalled my old drivers. Went to the NVIDIA website and downloaded the new beta drivers for windows XP. Now when I play my Lord of the Rings Battle for middle earth the pictures are all distorted. Need some help.

run driver cleaner
reinstall drivers

I'd assume downloading it would be the first step. Check to see if there is a Readme. Stands to reason there is one...

Could the problem be because I installed beta drivers. There were only 2 options. Beta drivers or Linux and FreeBSD. I didn't know what FrreeBSD was. Is that what I am suppose to download.

I'm not really sure what you did but running driver cleaner and then installing these drivers http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_66.93 should solve your problem.

freeBSD is a different OS. so is Linux.

sounds like you'll have to wait till the real drivers come out.
