3 questions, first the age old one. I want to do video editing and gaming. I know that AMD is better for gaming. If I go AMD I am going to get the 939 2.2GH processor. If I go with Intel I am going to get the LLG 3.4 GH. How much better is the Intel for Video editing then AMD. 2 which chipset should I go with for AMD. Last question, I am trying to decide on a Monitor. I have heard that ViewSonic is really good. I am looking for a 19 inch Flat Screen CRT. Could somebody explain to me how to look for good specs on a monitor. Thanks

well you have found the right person to answer those questions....video editing is right up my alley...I just purchaced an athalon 64 3000+ 754 939 is way too expensive for me. I started editing on a pentium 2 400mhz and then when i got enough money i built my first amd system 950 athalon t-bird...ive found that as far as video editing goes...it just matters for the most part how much ram you have..the amd for me was alot quicker but it was also more then double processing power so i cant totally answer your question...but i can ask you something..are you going to be using the computer for gaming? also as far as monitors go..viewsonic is the BEST ive had trinitron, nec multisync..and viewsonic (was my last because nec and trinitron gave me problems :) )
