Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I installed a new sata drive for my older computer with a IDE drive already. Problem is, the computer doesn't recognize the new drive (although the bios detects it) is there something else I need to do?
If you're in windows and you have not formatted the drive yet, then thats why you can't see it.
Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Storage > Disk Management> Your new drive should be listed there, go ahead and partition it, it should say that its an unpartitioned volume. simple as right clicking it and partitioning.
If you want a shortcut download Maxblast4win and partition it with that.
