Help Please with my Samsung SyncMaster T260

I bought a Samsung SyncMaster T260 and I love it except for the constant dimming! Anytime the screen goes dark the power saver mode (I guess thats whats going on) kicks in and dims the screen until something lighter appears. I looked in the menus and there is no option to get rid of it. I've googled for a solution but have not found one? Anyone have this display and know how to disable it from dimming? Help please!

I googled some more and it looks like it is Samsungs Soft Power option. Anyone know how to disable it?

The OSD menus should have a "MagicBright" sub-menu: change to a mode other than "Dynamic Contrast".

How do you like this monitor? I have one on order and should be arriving later next week. Cant wait to see it in action.

I really like it. Just turn off the Dynamic Contrast or it will drive you nuts! I'm not to fond of the stand but haven't looked into a wall mount yet. It has quite a few input options. You'll love it...

Have you tried gaming on it? I'm thinking of getting one too but worried that it may not look its best less than 2 feet away.

It needs a calibration out of the box. Depending on what size your coming from it definitely takes some getting used to. I came from a 22" Viewsonic and I love my new Samsung.
