Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If so, check the obvious, such as make sure all power connectors are proper, make sure the switch is connected properly, make sure everything is seated properly, make sure the Mobo isnt touching the case etc.
...pull everything; all dirves - floppy, HD's, and opticals, expansion cards, etc. Clear the CMOS. Go for a boot. Do you get the BIOS "splash" screen....?? If yes, add one drive subsystem at a time to find the boot culpret. If not....you have some more fundamental work to do.
nonono im at the core - cpu ram and video card on the mobo period. plus psu of course.
no bios and no beeps, but LEDs on the mobo indicate all is good lol wtf?
i looked on abit forums and it seems abit products don't work with generic psu's, so i guess i have to wait until my antec comes in tomorrow or weds. i was just trying to test the parts with a spare psu in the mean time but I guess no go. grrrr i just hope that's all the problem amounts to.
thanks, ill update you guys when i get the psu lol
