What card should i buy for games like EQ2 and doom3 - the 9600xt 256meg or 9800pro 128? If this is a stupid question for you all, well, ill just feel more comfortable in the confidence of your answer. BTW, feel free to post why.
 
yup.....the 128megs hardly even makes a difference......so the 9800pro is a much better choice....although if u can afford a 256mb version id do that...every little bit counts.....and also make sure the 9800 pro is 256bit.....128bit licks nuts
 
Definately the 9800 Pro 128MB. It is significantly faster than the 9600XT. Make sure you get the 256-bit version.
