I have just tried to install a new Gigabyte 7790 in the rig listed in my signature. Clean Win 8 x64 up to date install.
The hardware seemed to go in fine, I attached a spare PCIE power cable and got no video signal when I attempted to boot, the fan on the card sped up normally. I have tried DVI and HDMI both of which work fine with my onboard graphics. I have tried a couple of the different spare PCIE connectors on my PSU. I have tried an old 4670 that I had lying around that has never been used in this PC and it worked fine.
I went back to onboard graphics to install AMD drivers and still get no video signal.
Is there anything else to do? I don't have another PC readily available but could possibly test in a weeks time on my parents PC which has the same MBoard, but different PSU.
Thanks
