It's been a while since I've built a PC, and I sorta want to do that now.

I'm running a Dell XPS 7100. It has an AMD Phemon II X6 1075T in it.

I'd like some recommendations on a mobo that won't break the bank and will still OC decently.

I've got a 6870 in it so I'd like to OC the CPU to get some extra FPS out of it for my games......and just to toy around. :D

if you want something on the cheaper end you can go with something like this..

or if you want to spend a little extra cash on something thats a bit more future proof and still supports the x6 while also supporting bulldozer when it comes out you can go with something like one of these.

its different and its not the stupid white and blue generic colors asus and gigabyte have been using for years. just nice to see something different for once and not on a 300+ dollar motherboard.

got no complaint from me regarding the motherboard of 'yore' with faded green PCBs and black and white connector shrouds.

the sabertooth while different in colour scheme, it's not something i'd choose. if board is in a case with no windows, not really an issue. on the other hand if you're displaying your case internals, may be difficult to find 'matching accessories'. again that's just my take. the op may have different plans and was only really asking if board was 'decent', which of course it is.
