Helping my Cousin build his PC.. we are trying to figure out the cooling solution.. he got the Asus Z97 Pro and a 4790K. We have kind narrowed it down to the Cyrorig R1 Ultimate and the Swiftech 240x water cooling solution. He likes things very quiet which has me leaning towards air to avoid pump noise etc. But we both like the appeal the 240x.. especially through the window of the 760T Corsair he got. Advise? Opinions? We plan to OC of course.
 
I have R1 and love it, but as you can see below, the H240X has more cooling ability and is quieter too.

I'm in non-Swiftech land .. UK .. or I would probably have one myself.
 
That chart actually shows that the 240x is significantly louder not quieter....

That being said the majority of the sound in a watercooling system is the fans which can be easily swapped out for more silent versions.
