Time for another 4tb.. looking for a quiet drive that will run 30gb videos without issues and is cheap! Thx for any advice. Found some HGST and WD Blue in my price range. My other drives are 7200rpm HGST but are a little noisey.

If you want something quiet I suggest the 4TB WD Red over the Blue. For video playback you don't need a 7200 rpm drive.

The HGST Coolspin drives are often suggested here, but those I cannot buy here and thus have no experience with these.

Yeah, I am looking at the HGST NAS drives as they get great reviews but cost a little more than the 5400rpm versions. From what I have read they are quiet.
