I'm getting this error sometimes on bootup. Now, I know what you are going to say...
"Just boot with the windows XP cd, and using the recovery console, restore that file."
Well, I tried that, and now it will only boot into Windows about 50% of the time. The other half of the time, I get the pci.sys is missing or corrupt error.
Any ideas. I'm in the process of googling some more for answers, but I thought I would post here to see you anyone has any quick suggestions.
Hopefully, and new install of windows isn't in my near future
