Hi I have:

DFI Ultra-D NF4
OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200)
-Cas Latency 2
-Timing 2-3-2-5
-Voltage 2.6V - 2.8V
AMD Opteron Toledo 165 1.8

I did a mild overclock by setting by HTT to 238 x 9 multipler. Right now I am at 2.14 and stuck, when i increase the HTT past 238 it wont reach the splash screen in vista it just reboots. I tried increasing the voltage on the CPU from 1.3 to 1.4 and still got the same result. This chip is suppouse to go around 2.5-2.6 on air im reading. What am I doing wrong ? My temps are are in the 30s

Set the ram to 333 or something... the increased HTT is making the actual speed go over 400.

Can someone help me?

He meant the FSB..

Which ratio/divider do you have selected for your RAM? I'm fairly certain that the RAM is running faster than 200 MHz with your current settings, which would put it over stock. Try loosening all your timings and go on from there.

Sometimes I'm surprised at the amount of money people will drop on a system and not bother reading anything at all.

I have a DFI LP NF4, Opteron 165 with Corsair XMS PC3200 memory, here are my basic settings:

9 * 312 = 2808 mhz
CAS 2.5,3,3,6, 1T
CPU voltage 1.4
Dram 2.8
HTT = 3
Divider 2/3 * 312 ~ 200 mhz

Temps around 34-36 idle, 40-42 playing video games.
