Hey guys,

I am in the process of building a new computer and would like your advice on a case. I was particularly looking at the Silverstone ft02 but after seeing the price, it was way over my budget so I started looking at the corsair 650d.

After lurking the 650d thread, it appears as though a lot of ppl are complaining about the whining fan noise from the mesh or the lack of good airflow, so im open to suggestions on a case. I was also thinking of the haf-x since I read about the great airflow but the case looks too rugged for my personal taste.

I like simple/clean looking cases that can function well. Currently, I am running the antec p182b (my first real case) but I realized accessing/swapping out hds is a pain for me and I would like something that’s easier for cable management for future upgrades and with easier access to swap out parts. I also heard great things about fractal design cases but I haven’t had a chance to do further research about them at the moment.

I guess basically I want
-clean/simple looking case
-has good airflow (I am open to water cooling as well, since I never tried such a build)
-mid tower
-easy internal access
-nice cable management
-supports long cards (although I have no idea what kinda card I will purchase)
-budget of around <150

Any suggestions that fits what im looking for? I hope im not being picky, lol

I have the silverstone RV02, it's half the price of a FT02.... pretty much the same, except it's material is cheaper and the styling is more radical.

The fractal design cases have also been popular, I have one for my file server.
