HELP!!!!! Only seeing artifacts when booting

I ran nero, crashed my computer and now all i see are artifacts, even during bootup.
Here is what i have done so far:
- I tried my vid card in another machine to see if it was working, and it is.
- I tried another vid card in my main machine, and it was not working at all.
- I put my original card back in, and i see artifacts again.

Do i need to try and reset the bios?
Any ideas of how to get my system back?
Any thing i should try?

Sure sounds like something died. Wonder if your memory would test OK in another machine? That's relatively easy to check. Your PSU could be on the fritz, too....

I'm afraid you're facing the unfortunate task of trying your hardware, piece by piece, in a known good working system until you find the issue.
