Hi, I'm pretty much new to SATA drives stage of computer so bare with me.
I know that when you get a brand new hard drive you have to setup it up first before doing anything else like preparing the hard drive in Western digital's data lifeguard tools or Maxtor's max blast software. I've done it plenty of times on regular EIDE drives. My question is that, I recently just bought two Western Digital 36.7 GB Raptor and I want to set it up as stated above. I put in the data lifeguard tools disk but the raptor's didn't show up on the list except the DVD-RW (PATA). So how do i go about on setting up these drives? Any help is appreciated. TIA
