I have recently upgraded my PC to a Win 7 (x86) Ultimate
was earlier using XP
I have been using this application, ReConnect ,to automatically dial an Internet connection on startup on my XP
The application however doesn't support Win 7 (ReConnect 1.5)
Hence it wont run.
This is what all i've tried (but have been unsuccessful,as yet)
1. Copied a shortcut of RASDIAL.exe into my startup folder :--
this has yielded no results ,it start on boot but doesnt dial a connection
2. Changed the compatibility mode of the application to run in XP sp 2 + admin mode
it kinda worked, the application can now be used to dial a connection manually
BUT it doesnot automatically dial the connection on STARTUP.
(may be this happens b coz there is no connection shortcut on desktop of Win 7 unlike XP)
So i still am without any solution

If yal know of any other apps that do this job or anything else that i need to do
