While i know their are some about the ones i do find, in comparison to their PCI-E brethern are WAY to expensive, about 40+ does anyone here know of a place selling 6600 cards or, for that matter any of the 6x00 range, for less then 150$ in the us ?
(and while it says ireland in my location i have a friend in the us getting it for me)
So anyhelp folks ?

The Fry's Electronics by me had the PNY 6600 AGP for $149.99 2 weeks ago. It's back up to $159, but will probably go on sale at outpost.com or Fry's again for $150.

that's a decent price and 10 bucks is probably nothing.

Thanks for all the replies folks, very kind of you :)
Btw am I the only one that finds it odd that the PCI E versions of these cards are like, 30-40$ cheeper then the other ones, when you would think it would be the opposit due to pci-e not selling as much ?

It is costing more to make the AGP versions of these cards becasue of the bridge chip. Remember, the 6600 chips are native PCI-E chips...

See there? I learn something new everyday. I didn't know there was a 6600 vanilla AGP card out there!

Interesting i have to admit i've been out of the loop with current GFX cards and such, also i'm finding google to be an utter pain when trying to find info and reviews on the cards so smaller bits of info like that just shoot past me and while i know this site has review'd them the article section doesnt seem to load for me at the moment -_-

anyhow i've manged to find an MSI 6600 for 149, which is about the right price, only thing is is theirs a "TD" in the name.. what the heck does that mean ?
