I am in the need of a radiator 360 sized. I'm looking for a fan spacing of 17mm which is Koolance's standard to fit their shroud. The Black Ice standard is 15mm, which makes it near impossible to fit up a rad to their shroud without extensive modifications. I can do it, but were talking about 20-30 hours of work. I would rather spend the time sleeving and routing wires. :)

Look at a line drawing of the Koolance rad. I'm talking about the center to center spacing between adjacent fan mounting holes.

I'm having trouble following your numbers...but here's a suggestion. The MagiCool pro rads are 30mm deep, and (I think) the thinnest radiator out there. Efficiency is comparable to the BIPII.

How far back we talking here? I assume Fesser is from Germany?

Awhile back I'd say. You can ask around to see if anyone has them. There was maybe a sale a few months back for the feser triple's @ 99 because they were 17mm fan spacing.

I don't know where Feser is based, but I don't think its Germany. They're carried at all major retailers such as PPC, Frozen CPU, etc. Look around on those sites and see if you can find them for sale still. They'll be considerably cheaper is how you can tell right away if it's a 17mm fan spacing.

The very first batch from Feser were 17mm-spaced, but it was quickly 'fixed' to the industry-standard-accepted 15mm-spacing. I'm sure there's some of the original batch still floating around out there.

Feser is based out of Menden , Germany. You will probably have a difficult time finding any of their 17mm spaced rads. I am not aware of any other rads currently available with this spacing.

Thermochill's have 17mm spacing ... although they seem to be hard to get a hold of now. Maybe you can pick up a used one?

There's a much easier way. Use any ol' 15 mm-spaced radiator and attach it with only the middle fan. Here's a quick MS Paint mockup, the short red lines representing mounting screws:

There might be a little slopover at the ends of the radiator, but nothing a little electrical tape couldn't seal. It's not a perfect solution, of course, but you won't need to spend 20-30 hours re-holing or hunting for someone's crusty old used Thermochill rad.

Thermochills are 17 mm? I have a Swiftech and the fans pretty much touch each other; Thermochill-mounted fans look a lot farther apart to me than 2 mm.
