Help, NEC 20WMGX Owners

Just started using this monitor and it gets pretty damn warm, especially the top. I just had the monitor on for less then an hour and it got this warm. I even feel the heat rising a little bit if I put my arm above the monitor. Is this normal? I think my wall outlet is faulty because my surge protector wouldn't work on it.

i have mine plugged into a 1000 APC UPS. Mine gets pretty warm on top too but i dont have any other problems so it should be normal.

Mine runs really warm too. This is by far the hottest lcd I've ever owned. It puts out more heat than last my crt.

should be fine . 6 hours sessions of Oblivion in the summer time and still no problems with mine, though if you're worried, turn on Advanced DV mode, and this will cool it down a bit as it ramps the backlight up/down

Might stays just slightly above body temperature 98.6, when i touch the back of it feels as hot as someone with a fever around 102-104.

honestly, and this may sound weird, but it might need to be broken in. Mine feels warm, but not scorching like it used to when it was brand spankin new. Don't worry bout it
